Modern Slavery Policy

This statement is a voluntary statement prepared by Philamina Limited and constitutes Philamina Limited known as The Beverley Barn on slavery and human trafficking under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We recognise the importance of its principles and have a responsibility to be alert to the risks.

We have prepared a statement that sets out reasonable steps that Philamina Limited has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within Philamina Limited, our supply chains or any organisation that has a business relationship with our company.

Modern Slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, underpaying at the prevailing rate, human trafficking and forced labour. Philamina Limited has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings.

We operate a supplier policy and maintain a preferred supplier list in which we conduct due diligence on all suppliers before allowing them to become a preferred or recommended supplier.

Our supply chain providers are from the UK and we expect these entities to have suitable anti-slavery policies in place.

All of our employees adhere to all applicable regulations, have the right to work in the UK and we meet the industry benchmark for wages and benefits within the business.

At our current date; 28/10/23 we have not received any reports from employees, the public, or law enforcement agencies to indicate that modern slavery practices have been identified within Philamina Limited.
