The Power of Collaboration in the Wedding Industry
Yesterday, we had the privilege of co-hosting the York Wedding Network event here at the barn, welcoming a fantastic group of wedding professionals together for a relaxed morning of networking, hot drinks and a beautiful breakfast grazing board.
It was my first time co-hosting a networking event and also my first time attending a York Wedding Network event, and it is safe to say I will absolutely be attending future events wherever possible!
The atmosphere throughout the morning was warm, welcoming and genuinely supportive. There was no pressure, no forced sales environment and no awkwardness. Just passionate business owners, creatives and wedding professionals coming together to connect, collaborate and share ideas.
As somebody who regularly sees local businesses online through Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, it was incredibly valuable to finally put faces to names and have real conversations with the people behind the brands.
Behind every beautiful wedding day is an entire network of suppliers working together behind the scenes. Venues, photographers, florists, caterers, stylists, cake makers, musicians, celebrants, bridal boutiques and planners all play an important role in creating an unforgettable experience for couples.

As a venue owner, I also believe it is incredibly important to continue learning, evolving and staying connected to the wider industry. The wedding world changes constantly and surrounding yourself with forward-thinking, passionate people is one of the best ways to continue growing both personally and professionally.
We feel incredibly grateful to have hosted such a lovely morning at The Beverley Barn and would like to thank everyone who attended, supported and contributed to the event.
We are already looking forward to the next one already!
