Join Us for Our Macmillan Bake Sale & Craft Day at The Beverley Barn
On Sunday 19th April 2026, we are opening the doors of The Beverley Barn for something a little different.
We are hosting our annual Macmillan Bake Sale and Craft Day, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. A charity that, in some way, touches nearly all of us.
What to Expect
From 10am to 3pm, the barn will be open to guests, families and anyone who wants to support the cause.
This is designed to be relaxed, inclusive and genuinely enjoyable. Not just a fundraiser people feel obliged to attend.
Here is what you can expect:
Homemade cakes and baked treats
A bouncy castle for children, kindly donated by Jonny from JBouncetastic
Arts and crafts activities
Seed planting stations for both adults and children
A calm, welcoming space to spend time together
A Thoughtful Touch
For anyone who has lost someone, we are offering a simple but meaningful activity. Guests can create and take home a planted pot.
The idea is straightforward. Nurture it. Watch it grow. Plant it in your garden.
A small act of remembrance that lasts beyond the day.
Why We Are Doing This
At The Beverley Barn, we are in the business of celebrations. But we also believe in showing up when it matters.
Macmillan Cancer Support provides practical, emotional and financial help to people facing cancer. Their work is essential, and this is our way of contributing.
Our goal is to raise £1,000. We believe that is achievable with the support of our community.
How You Can Support
You do not need to overthink this. Just get involved in a way that works for you.
You can:
Come along on the day
Bring friends or family
Buy a cake or two
Make a donation on arrival
Contribute by baking or supplying materials
Help us spread the word
Every contribution counts. No matter how small.
