Don't you hate it when someone says, thank you, we value your feedback?

Urgh! I DO!

They value your feedback but then don’t do anything to change it.

Well, thats where we are different.

You talk, we listen and if we can implement it we will!.

We might know our lovely little barn inside out and have years of experience hosting weddings, but our couples and their guests experience The Beverley Barn from a completely different perspective. That’s why we genuinely listen to what you tell us.

And more importantly, we act on it.

Recently, after one of our outdoor ceremonies, a guest mentioned that the wind had made it difficult to hear the registrars from further down the aisle.

It would have been very easy to put it down to the unpredictable East Yorkshire weather, but instead we thought, how can we make this better?

Within a day, we had ordered a microphone stand so our outdoor ceremonies can now be amplified, helping everyone hear those all-important words, wherever they are sitting.

Sometimes feedback gives us an idea though….

After seeing just how much beautiful décor and wedding bits can be left over after a wedding, we asked our past and future couples whether they would use a private Beverley Barn Facebook Marketplace group.

My thoughts are, past couples can sell or pass on decorations and items they no longer need, while future couples can save a little money, find inspiration and reuse something that might otherwise have been thrown away.

The response via Facebook was fantastic, and it showed us once again how important it is to actually ask our couples what they want rather than simply deciding for them.

We’re a small, family-run business and we honestly care about the experience our clients and guests have. Sometimes feedback results in a big change. Sometimes it’s something as simple as a microphone stand. And sometimes one little conversation gives us an entirely new idea!

So, tell us what you loved, tell us what you think we could do better and tell us the little things you’d love to see at The Beverley Barn.
